MarketHive
map tools provide basic map navigation and changing
the appearance of themes, such as visibility, classification and
displaying coverage areas for FM and TV stations. The
MarketHive map interface also provides general reporting that
displays information about a media outlet or county. More specific
information regarding demographic profiles for a given FM or TV coverage
area can also be generated. The demographic profiles contain more than
90 elements of population, housing and commuter information for a select
coverage area.
How do I use the
MarketHive tools?

Map navigation is composed of Zooming and Panning
Zooming requires the user
to simply move the slider bar up to zoom in and down to zoom out.
Panning is conducted on the Inset Map of the state. To pan to a
new location either click on a new location on the Inset Map, or drag
the shaded box to a new location on the Inset Map.
Original View is a short-cut method to quickly take the map
display back to a view of the entire state.
Visibility is controlled by the
circle buttons next
to the Theme Name

coverage rings

the media point location again and the coverage ring will be removed
from display in the map.
Demographic Profiles can be created for FM and TV station
coverage areas by clicking on the

will open in a new page and contain more than 90 summarized demographic

one time.
Locate Radio or TV station
Search for radio and television
stations by entering the call letters, or partial call letters of the
station. The selected station will be displayed in the map by a coverage
ring (FM and TV) or the call letters for AM stations.
